Nido Room

A Gentle Start to Lifelong Learning

A warm, nurturing space designed for babies from birth to 18 months, the Nido Room is a calm and loving environment where infants feel safe, secure, and supported as they begin their journey of exploration and discovery. Inspired by Montessori principles, our Nido Room provides age-appropriate materials, sensory-rich experiences, and a gentle daily rhythm to foster early independence and development.

What Happens in the Nido Room?

The Nido Room is thoughtfully designed to meet the unique needs of infants, offering an environment that supports their natural development while providing comfort, consistency, and care. Our experienced educators create a space where babies can build strong relationships, feel emotionally secure, and develop foundational skills through sensory experiences, movement, and interactive play.

  • Gentle Play & Exploration – Infants explore their surroundings through treasure baskets, soft baby toys, and sensory activities, designed to stimulate curiosity and fine motor development.
  • Low Noise Levels & Peaceful Atmosphere – We maintain a quiet, soothing environment, with soft lighting and gentle background music to help babies feel at ease.
  • Singing & Stories – Educators engage babies in gentle songs, rhymes, and storytelling, fostering early language development and communication skills.
  • Meal Time– Babies have their meals in a calm, welcoming atmosphere, where they enjoy nutritious food in a relaxed, unhurried setting.
  • Movement & Coordination – The Nido Room features safe climbing equipment and open spaces, allowing babies to practice crawling, pulling up, and early walking in a safe environment.
  • Outdoor Play – Weather permitting, infants enjoy time outdoors, experiencing fresh air, nature, and gentle movement, essential for physical and sensory development.
  • Rest & Nap Time – A peaceful sleep environment ensures babies get the rest they need, with soft bedding and a predictable nap routine.
  • One-on-One Care & Bonding – Educators offer individualized attention, responding to each baby’s needs with gentleness, patience, and warmth.

Every aspect of the Nido Room is designed to respect each baby’s natural rhythm, supporting their cognitive, emotional, and physical growth in a safe and loving environment.
